Two new faces joined the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance’s leadership team in November: Kyle Burchard is now director of business administration, and Becca Yates is director of stakeholder engagement, corporate strategy and communications.

Yates is tasked with making sure NEEA’s internal operations and external strategies are working in concert, not opposition. Since joining the alliance’s staff in 2008, she has led projects concerning program marketing, long-term business planning, stakeholder engagement, corporate communications and workforce development.

Prior to NEEA, Yates worked for the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and for Foreign Policy magazine, both in Washington, D.C. She received a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Pepperdine University and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Oregon.

Burchard joined NEEA in 2018. Prior to that, he worked for CLEAResult, as well as Dell and Autodesk. He received a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.

“Kyle Burchard has proven a great addition to the organization over this past year, and Becca Yates has made numerous contributions during her decade of tenure serving the alliance,” NEEA Executive Director Susan Stratton said in a news release.
