Forwarding of electronic versions is the same as reproduction or copying of our news services, and is unlawful without an explicit written license.

"Fair use" statutes allow for reproduction—with proper credit—in the context of educational use in a school or university setting, as part of public presentations, or for limited personal use by individual subscribers. This does not include reproduction of an issue for distribution within an organization in lieu of a multiple-copy subscription order or an information services license.

Reproduction of Energy NewsData news services for distribution to other organizations or individuals that could subscribe on their own is also forbidden, since this in effect the unauthorized wholesale distribution of our professional news gathering service.

Energy NewsData has instituted special subscription rates, featuring significant discounts for multiple copies, bulk purchases or licensing of our information services in electronic form. On such multiple-user accounts, all users covered by the master account must be employees, principals, commissioners or board members of the subscribing entity.
